This was a real cowboy. The following is engraved on the headstone of Russell J. Larsen in Logan City Cemetery, Utah. I wonder if he died knowing he would win the 'Coolest Headstone' contest?
FIVE RULES FOR MEN TO FOLLOW TO A HAPPY LIFE:
- It's important to have a woman who helps at home, who cooks from time to time, cleans up and has a job.
- It's important to have a woman who can make you laugh.
- It's important to have a woman who you can trust and who doesn't lie to you.
- It's important to have a woman who is good in bed
and who likes to be with you.
- It's very, very important that these four women do not know each other.
Where White Man Went Wrong
Indian Chief Two Eagles was asked by a white US government official: “You have observed the white man for 90 years. You’ve seen his wars and his technological advances. You’ve seen his progress and the damage he’s done.”
The chief nodded in agreement.
The official continued: “Considering all these events, in your opinion, where did the white man go wrong?”
The chief stared at the government official, then replied:
“When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine Man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex.”
Then the chief leaned back and smiled. “Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.”
