Established in Tauranga in 1997, Generation Homes has built itself a highly reputable name in residential construction. Over the last year, the firm has handed over approximately 100 homes to happy new owners and it expects to triple that number this year. Such success is largely due to its reputation for rigorous quality control, and strong customer and supplier relationships.
“There’s some great new land coming into the pipeline here. We’ve got a presence in a fabulous subdivision in Karaka at the moment and there is more coming onto the market as we speak. This means we can offer fantastic house/land packages,” explains Generation Karaka joint venture partner Jess Lalich.
The other key point that draws her customers through the door, she says, is Generation Homes’ commitment to making the building process as pain-free as possible for all concerned. This means debunking the accepted practice of a new home costing 10 per cent more – and taking 10 per cent longer to deliver – than anticipated. And from the contractors’ point of view, realistic and comprehensive scheduling means the carpet layer or painter knows exactly what day they will be expected on site before the project even leaves the ground.
“We guarantee you will take possession of your new home on time and on budget, while our detailed building schedules mean you can track the progress of your new home daily.”
