Blog question
Attitude. How many people can honestly say their mum has never pulled the “watch your attitude” or “you won’t get anywhere with an attitude like that” line. From day one we are fed information on how to behave, to watch our mouth and pick up our act. We read magazines and take personality quizzes and read positive thinking books to try altering our inner beings to have a happier aura and better attitude. What do you think of attitudes? Are you a positive or a negative person? Do you think your attitude is important to success? Share your thoughts and let us see people’s attitudes on attitude!

Blog response
Personally I’m a big believer in the effects of attitude on your life. My mum would always tell me to think positive, and I guess I adopted this pattern of thinking at a young age and have always taken a bright approach to most things. Yeah, I’m not perfect, and often I get in too much of a rush and my positive attitude goes out the window too. But in general I think it’s best to focus on the positives rather than the negatives in our lives. When I was younger I used to want to make ‘happy news’ because I was sick of hearing about war and death on the TV news. I’m not quite that extravagant any more but on the whole I think it’s important to step back, relax and have a bit of self belief, because if you think you’re going nowhere - you probably are. I would like to leave you with a quote this month “Did is a word of achievement, won't is a word of retreat, might is a word of bereavement, can't is a word of defeat, ought is a word of duty, try is a word each hour, will is a word of beauty and CAN is a word of power.” Keep smiling, and remember a positive attitude is the key to a happy life ?

Fashion
Summer baby! The sun is coming out and so are the bikinis. This month it's bikini shopping. This is no longer something to dread, girls, as bikini shopping has hit an all time high with low prices in special hot spots and new styles to suit everyone. Now there are many key steps to getting the right bikini. 1. Decide if you want a bikini or one piece. 2. Read Gossip Girl to get the hotspots for shopping, such as Onehunga Dress Mart. Glasson’s has some awesome new 50s styled togs with tailored high cut bottoms and feminine fitted tops. One pieces are slimming and in funky cuts and prints. CAUTION: be very careful buying a bikini online: double check guarantees as sizes are often wrong! 3. Choose your style and colour, slop on the Sugar Baby tan lotion, top it off with sunscreen and aviators - then hit the beach!

Beats
Lot of music news to share this month. To kick off I want to let you know some new singers to watch out for. Kimbra is making a rise with the release of the song ‘Somebody that I used to know’ where she features alongside Gotye in a very catchy but mellow tune. Next up is new YouTube star Hoodie Allen, an unsigned American hip-hop artist who makes and sings all his own tunes. My fav is I am not a robot, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNkI6IEsssc check it out. Lastly just for fun, this young English girl Sophia can really rap/sing for her age - a sure fire star to watch out for; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNkI6IEsssc is her singing Niki Minaj’s Superbass. Also keep your eyes peeled for the recent winners of the Glee Project, Damian McGinty and Samuel Larsen.

Movies
Remember Me is reasonably new, but out of the cinemas all the same. It is a romantic drama centred on two new lovers: Tyler, whose parents have split in the wake of his brother's suicide, and Ally, who lives each day to the fullest since witnessing her mother's murder. An amazing tale of the extent love takes you to, the ups the downs and a SHOCKING twist that leaves you speechless. Passion is an understatement. This film is not your classic love tale and is definitely one I could watch again. 10/10, 113 minutes of emotion featuring our favourite vampire Robert Pattison playing a very compelling role nothing like his famous character Edward. Very well done with interesting cinematography.

Celebrities
Old but still a shocker is the breakup of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. The age gap proved too difficult for the pair, and when Ashton was caught cheating Demi drew the line, hiring a divorce lawyer and filing the split legally. Suri Cruise is continuing her famous act of spoilt princess as she packs a sad over her clothes only being worth thousands not millions and refuses to eat any food that’s not pink or white. Likewise Jenifer Aniston packs a sad about Brad Pitt and her hardships over the past few years. On a brighter note Simon Cowell has taken a $10million gamble and won, producing a new hit show, XFactor USA, featuring amazing upcoming talent such as Rachel Crow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TMuDGmp754
