2017 is fast drawing to a close and for the team at The Salon, it marks the end of a wonderful two years as a successful hair salon. Our client base continues to grow as they find out all about the wonderful treatments we can offer without the city pricing!
In April we welcomed Georgia as the salon junior and already she’s proved to be a natural, and a real asset to the team. Next year she will start her apprenticeship which offers us Seniors a chance to learn with her, refreshing our own knowledge as she goes and offering our own experience to hers as she grows in her future career as a stylist.
Training is an integral part of how we do things at The Salon. It is vital that we invest in the knowledge of our skills and it ensures we achieve the best outcome for our clients’ hair. Everyone at The Salon commits to regular and ongoing training in the Salon and with Keune, and beecause trends are always changing within our industry, we love to try out anything new we have learned and are lucky enough that we have the clientele which enjoys being a part of our creativity process.
This busy year has also been a good realisation of how our job builds relationships that go beyond just client and stylist. Clients are able to unwind, recharge and vent; the fact that they leave with beautiful hair is an added bonus.
