Papakura StreetFEST – Saturday 5th of May 2018, Great South Road, Papakura
A date for you all to diary for our upcoming annual Papakura StreetFEST which is to be held on the Great South Road in the Papakura Town Centre from intersection of the Great South Road up to just before Averill Street. See Page ( 2 and 3 ) for more information.
It’s a community day for everyone to enjoy. From entertainment from local schools and groups throughout the day to market stalls and community groups highlighting what they do and how you can be involved – it a great day for the whole family.
Food Retailers in Papakura will be offering specials for the day, retailers will be offering specials from their stores just for this day and with entertainment, fun for the kids with face painting and clowns and of course the bouncy castle and slide to name a few.
With a stage set up in town for the event, local schools and groups have been asked to come in and entertain the crowds during the day.
Sustainable Papakura Market stall holders along with other stall holders are coming with wares for sale and other key events around town will be in place for you to visit and go and see while you are here.
Police, Fire and Ambulance teams will be here – along with Crime Watch and Neighbourhood Support and Civil Defence to name but a few. And come and find out about the new three bin system, how to compost and more interesting and interactive stalls which will be there on the day.
We hope you can come and be part of this fun filled FREE family community event and join in the celebrations and fun on this wonderful day which is sponsored by the Papakura Local Board and the Papakura Business Association celebrating what a wonderful town Papakura is and celebrating our community and our people.
