Conveyancing Plus has branches in both Pukekohe and Waiuku and as testament to the professional service they offer, the business is now open on Broadway.
“with a growing client base in Papakura, we wanted to make it even easier for them to visit us, if they wanted to. Having a base in the centre of town, make us able to do just that.” Bobbie-jo says.
The new offices on Level 1/20 Broadway, offer local clients the same levels of professionalism and efficiency that has seen them become a household name in Franklin since Bobbie-jo set up offices in Waiuku in 2012 before expanding into Pukekohe in 2016.
Conveyancing Plus offers an alternative to traditional lawyers when buying and selling property, as well as completing subdivisions, setting up trusts, powers of attorney and wills. Bobbie-jo has an extensive background in the legal industry, completing a property law diploma following a 20 year career as a legal executive. She understands that for first home buyers in particular, it's a big step involving lots of decisions and committing scary amounts of hard earned money.
Bobbie-jo Butler of Conveyancing Plus explains.
“Conveyancing is the legal work required to transfer the ownership of real estate from one person or entity to another. Conveyancing practitioners specialise in property law and have specific training and skills in all areas relating to the sale and purchase of real estate and related transactions, leases, subdivisions and refinances. Our conveyancing service also includes the sale and purchase of businesses.
“It's a bit like diving into a big pool in the river without knowing what snags may be hidden under the surface. Like anything new, buying and selling property can be full of pitfalls and unexpected complications, but our job is to steer our clients through all the necessary procedures and guide them into smooth waters.”
Providing professional guidance to navigate everything, dot the 'I's and cross the 'T's, sort the finance and make sure all the contractual and legal details are in order is what the Conveyancing Plus team does best.
“There can be a lot of emotion bound up in a property transaction, whether it's a first home buyer, nervous but excited about taking that initial step into the property world, or retirees parting with the family home and downsizing to a retirement village. Conveyancing Plus is itself something of a family business, with Bobbie-jo's husband Rocky providing solid support as a trust accountant, and a daughter helping out with technical information systems support. Bobbie-jo and her colleague, fellow conveyancing practitioner Linda Wilson, are both Waiuku residents. Linda has also worked in Pukekohe for many years, and that in-depth knowledge of the area is a real plus for clients buying or selling property in Franklin.
A firm believer in supporting the local area that has supported her, she is also pleased to be given the opportunity to tread new waters in Papakura.
“There is a current population of around 46,000 and a projected increase in that population to 70,200 by 2033 which is not surprising. Papakura is an attractive place to live with a number of new subdivisions and housing that can still be attained at affordable prices.
And, if Pukekohe does become a satellite city as predicted it will change the dynamics for the whole area as well.”

Bobbie-jo has a passion for the conveyancing profession, and has been a past president of the New Zealand Society of Conveyancers, the professional body which represents, promotes and regulates the conveyancing profession.
“Being president presented a great opportunity to promote the profession, spread knowledge about it and encourage others to take up this specialty. I continue this promotion through my firm, mentoring one of our Pukekohe staff members, Marie Galvin, who is currently studying to become a conveyancer and has a real flair for it.”

We will deal with your bank when the time comes and if you are on-purchasing we'll complete the transactions together.
