Welcome to Motoresto. The home of the 1972 Ducati Imola 900 tribute. Take a Ducati Supersport 750, 900, 1000 from 1991 to 2006 as a donor bike and your journey starts to being one of very few prestigious Motoresto Imola numbered motorcycles, hand restored and crafted.
Motoresto is born out of the true passion for Ducati's V twin air-cooled Desmo 2 valve engines of the 90's and the true early 1970's iconic Imola winning race bike ridden to victory by Paul Smart. It's this very bike that placed Ducati on the map and shaped their future thereon in.
Motoresto is Derek Price and Mykeljon Winckel. Their journey has been a continual ride of brands, styles, disciplines, engine builds, restoration always improving and pushing the limit to find a perfect marriage of road rideability, style, comfort and performance.
Their Imola tribute has been a five year journey developing this package starting with a single tank skin of an original 1972 Imola (single spar frame) to a carbon kevlar tank (double spar trellis frame) which is a world first with a real 22 litre capacity (16 litre is standard) with working fuel sight lines! - This is where the journey began.
You design your Imola, engine specifications, carburated, injected, colours, spoked wheels, instrument cluster... even the seat leather! Note all bikes have a custom glove box in the tail fairing. From top to bottom Motoresto creates nothing short of a masterpiece, that will draw attention and you know its absolutely unique. Motoresto ships worldwide and takes international orders.
