The N8WUNZ is a great success but you’ll never hear about it except if you’re in the zooms we do every Wednesday and Friday nights at 7:30 p.m. Even then we can’t tell you any details because they are won mostly in mediations which are strictly confidential meetings between the worker and the boss, presided over by MBIE Ministry of innovation business and employment.
The Minister of MBIE ,Michael Wood, was the minister that the Police and NZDF came up against in the famous Yardley case. You thought that was a success ? Well it was a limited success; the judge said that they could have gotten rid of the workers by using a ‘policy ‘ rather than an Order. We agree so it’s good to know that we are on the right track to obliterate these Orders and make sure they never show their ugly heads again. These unlawful policies are the meat of what we are fighting in the Employment Relations Authority and the Employment Court, the cases are ongoing.
We’ll try, however, to give you an indication of how we’re faring in the secret mediation process which is where the success is ongoing. In the cat fight between us and most of the legal profession backed by the State to keep us at bay. They fight to stop questions about the legality of the vaccine order its consequences for workers out of the spotlight and out of public view as much as possible

We have cases in the Authority and Court where we can talk about them and hopefully one day soon you will see written decisions in the worker’s favour, in the meantime the work goes on.
