If you’re looking for a fitness solution that is available at any time of the day or night, where everyone knows your name and you’re always welcome, check out Flex Fitness – the fitness facility on the block, that is incredibly popular with locals and neighbouring fitness fans Auckland-wide.

Flex Fitness Pukekohe and Manukau are New Zealand-owned and part of the Flex Fitness franchise, which began in 2008 and has grown to include 21 locations across the country; spanning both the North and South Islands.

Whether you are looking for highly experienced and friendly sports physiotherapists, personal trainers, nutrition advice, some good cardio and strength training, or a bit of everything, Flex Fitness has it all.

“Most importantly, we really cultivate a positive, upbeat atmosphere which is both results driven and so family-friendly, that our clients feel comfortable coming back regularly. In fact, a large proportion of our clients first joined us because their friends or family members recommended us,” says business owner, Leo Kane.

The secret to the success of Flex Fitness is the modern facilities, which includes top of the line equipment, “We only offer the best equipment and Flex Fitness is the only commercial gym that offers state of the art equipment, such as the SKILLRUN, which incorporates parachute and sled training along with your normal treadmill workout. It is used by Olympic athletes as well as the All Blacks.”

For those who are more interested in getting fit with friends or making new friends in group classes, there is also a wide range of group fitness classes available including boxing, pilates and cardio workouts. Also, if you are a member of any Flex Fitness gym, you can utilise that membership in any of the other 20 locations across the country. “Which is great for when you are on holiday or on the road,” says Leo.

For those who work long hours that are outside of the norm, Flex Fitness can fit in with your needs. “Just take your swipe card and the gym is available any time, day or night. Staff members are available from 10am till 7pm on most weekdays and 10am till 4pm on Saturdays. Security cameras as well as modern security equipment are also operational 24/7.”

Whether you are an experienced athlete, or you are just starting out and want some direction on where to begin, one of the friendly personal trainers will meet with you for an hour to plan your fitness journey and keep you motivated to carry on and meet the goals that you make for yourself. “We want our customers to feel like part of the family and keep coming back,” says Leo.
