Pukekohe Christian School, located at 82 Yates Road, Pukekohe, is a small and welcoming private school. The school offers a supportive environment for Year 1 through to Year 13 students and provides the Cambridge curriculum from a Christian worldview. This year’s gala will help fund the school’s hall development and provide additional sporting equipment for PCS students.
Pukekohe Christian School is hosting its popular annual gala on Saturday 7th March. Gates open at 9am with a powhiri and blessing before a day filled with family fun, entertainment, bargains and delicious international food begins.
Come along! There’s plenty of action for kids of all ages including a play zone for under 5’s and the popular VR room. Dress up in the photo booth, bag a mystery bottle, ride a pony and join in the awesome fair games. This year PCS is launching a parent and child team endurance race and bringing in a vertical climbing wall. The ever popular and exceptional garage sale, live and silent auctions and a local entertainment line-up are all essential parts of the PCS Gala. Be sure to check out the Dad’s Cake Competition where our Dads get the opportunity to show off their creativity and impressive baking skills!
Bargain hunters are guaranteed to find what they are looking for in the classrooms packed with pre-loved kids’ toys, furniture, clothes, books, and all sorts of treasures that you didn't even know that you wanted!
Amongst all the action, indulge yourself at one of the many International food stalls – Peruvian, Asian, Chinese, Indian and South African delights, together with the café, cake stall – and this year, pancakes! The kiwi gala classics of hot chips, burger or barbecued sausages are also available.
Bigger and better, is this year’s Farmers’ market - take home fresh produce for dinner, buy seedlings and more. All this, with a stunning vertical garden display and sustainable, green stalls for you to explore.
Thanks to the generous sponsors, there is a huge variety of items to bid on at auctions running across the day. You can view all the auction items whilst enjoying the live entertainment line-up of acoustic acts, dance routines and a surprise act that will awe young and old.
