Happy New Year, Everyone!

Its always great to have feedback from our readers good or bad, have a read of a few of the latest ones to cross the desk. As always, if there is a story you want to see, email us at editorial@elocal.co.nz.

Thank you for the nicely assembled article for South Auckland Woodturners. It is great to see this. You will be pleased to know that our sale this year is going very well, and we may well sell a record number of items - thanks in no small way to the support we get from elocal.

Greetings Editorial staff Many thanks for your recent publication about the Pohutukawa tree that I greatly enjoyed reading. I thought you skilfully crafted the article over the contentious issue of European contact here prior to Capt. Cook. I have found historians don’t tend to like theories that question conventional timings.

I’d like to thank all those involved in the publication of elocal. I enjoy reading your magazine and I particularly like the independent articles/opinions expressed - they make a positive change from the regurgitated main media ‘stories’ that are thrust on us daily. Keep up the good work. Best Wishes for the Festive Season and for a Bright New Year.

— Dianne
