Craftsman Cabinets Bespoke Kitchens, Cabinetry & Furniture

True Craftsmanship. Beautiful Spaces. Built to Last.

Founded in 2018 and led by Jason Michie, Craftsman Cabinets specialises in beautifully designed, custom-made kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, wardrobes and furniture. Based in Patumahoe, the company combines precision workmanship, contemporary design and personal service to create spaces built to last.

A Passion for Craftsmanship

Jason's passion for woodworking began in his grandfather's workshop and developed into an award-winning career. Named Supreme Apprentice of the Year in 2013, he is a qualified Cabinet and Furniture Maker with more than 15 years of experience.

Jason personally oversees every project, ensuring exceptional standards from design through to installation.

Designed Around You

Every home is different, and Craftsman Cabinets takes a bespoke approach to creating cabinetry that complements each client's lifestyle, space and individual preferences.

Working alongside homeowners, architects, designers and builders, the team specialises in:

• Custom kitchens, sculleries and pantries
• Bathroom and laundry cabinetry
• Wardrobes and storage solutions
• Home offices and entertainment units
• Bespoke furniture and shelving
• Residential and commercial joinery

Every detail, from materials and finishes to functionality, is carefully considered.

From Concept to Completion

The process begins with a complimentary 30-minute showroom consultation, followed by detailed design proposals and 3D presentations that help clients visualise their project.

Once approved, cabinetry is custom-manufactured and professionally installed under Jason's personal supervision. A three-month follow-up ensures everything continues to perform as intended.

Award-Winning Workmanship

At the 2022 Master Joiners Awards, Craftsman Cabinets won Best Kitchen Under $20,000 for its Lux Loft project. Its Kopikopiko Bar project was also runner-up in two categories, recognising the team's versatility and craftsmanship.

Trusted by Customers

Customers consistently praise the company's professionalism, flexibility and attention to detail. Kath and Jay highlighted Jason's exceptional craftsmanship, while Amelia and Shea appreciated the team's accommodating approach and beautifully finished work.
