When Bayleys Branch Manager Sharleen Buchanan jumped into the driving seat of the local Pukekohe office just over 4 years ago, she set a goal to successfully lead and grow a dynamic sales team and to compliment them with a new modern office and customer focused space in which to work in. As the team grew and their market share increased, it quickly became evident that their current space was not fit for purpose and expansion was necessary. As it happened the business next door, were moving on from their tenancy at 8 Massey Ave and the opportunity opened up for Bayleys to expand into the space. After much planning and hard work the recent expansion of the office has been completed, offering a smart corporate feel out front, while the back-of-house team space, and engine room of the office has had a fabulous freshen up too.
Sharleen is very proud of what has been achieved with the expansion of her office and says that the new auction room and entertaining spaces along with dedicated meeting rooms and a sizable boardroom will add dramatically to the functionality of the office. The team has already grown because of this expansion and improved look and space on offer, and she is hoping that the extra visibility will encourage others to join her high-performance team too.
“We have a great collaborative team culture in our office and our admin are some of the best in the business which have been two things that have been truly appreciated by those who have joined us.” says Buchanan.
Sharleen has worked for Bayleys Real Estate for nearly 17 years and has been in the industry for over 21 years, observing and selling at the front line through all the market cycles. This extensive knowledge is a massive asset to her team and allows her to have her finger on the pulse of every listing and deal and assist at the front line when required.
