MATARIKI IN PAPAKURA

Check out the awesome School competition Matariki Flags flying high down the Great South Road. Papakura Business Association and Papakura Local board ran a school art competition to produce new Matariki Flags to go up in the township. Our two winners are Sarah from Hingaia Peninsular School and Lockie from Te Hihi School whose art work will be produced into our flags for the town.

Check out all the great celebrations happening on Saturday 29th of June from 10 am to 3 pm at the Papakura Museum Foyer in Papakura with carving demonstrations, photographic and weaving exhibitions.
