Paerata Rise is a new build lifestyle community being developed between Karaka and Pukekohe, approximately 40 minutes from Central Auckland.
Paerata Rise will be a stylish new town that combines the best features of the local Franklin area with modern town planning to build an integrated, livable community. Your home will be designed to your unique specifications and the natural beauty of the surrounding landscapes.
Paerata Rise is a unique rural township, offering a range of building options suited to your budget and lifestyle needs. Our vision is to create a community with the look and feel of an established country village but with all the modern benefits of an urban environment. Stage 1 of the first phase has 87 sections of varying sizes, of which 75% are now sold.
Paerata Rise is set to be a new community, but how much thought goes in to a name?
Grafton Downs Executive Director, Chris Johnston said that Grafton Downs spent a considerable amount of time discussing the name of the new community. “We believe that the people of Paerata form a unique community who need to be wellinformed when it comes to our development. The wider community has played a large part in our analysis of potential names.
After careful consideration and consultation with the Grafton Downs board, iwi, and some key local people, we have decided to call the new town development Paerata Rise.
We believe that Paerata Rise is a marketing name that incorporates the existing community of Paerata yet differentiates the development from the original established settlement through Paerata Rise will consist of up to 4500 new homes set in a beautiful location, intertwined with green spaces, cycle paths and walkways. As well as a range of housing options it will include 5ha of neighbourhood reserves, schools, a retail precinct, and a transport hub, including a railway station.”
Pukekohe town centre is five minutes’ drive from Paerata Rise and contains boutique shopping, cafes, an art gallery, medical services, cinema and a library and transport links to central Auckland.
Preparation is underway on the Paerata Rise Stage 2 sections, and titles for Stage 2A will be made available in November.
Stage 2 has 54 sections, all platformed and retained with an average section size of 544sqm; the largest site being 642sqm and the smallest at 422sqm.
